A Truly Rewarding Experience...
I have recently viewed your publication and found it to be
extremely interesting and the internet version very user
friendly. The magazine is exceedingly informative, not
just to the sports enthusiast, but also in a very practical
manner to the up-and-coming athlete.
I am yet to see your indoor sports facility, but I have heard that it is an
impressively designed and well managed addition to The University
of the West Indies. The photographs within definitely paint a
beautiful picture!
Additionally, the encouragement and incorporation of staff input into
your articles is also to be commended, since most other tertiary level
publications, on the one hand, tend to feature merely the “face” of its
institution, and, on the other, to seek outside professional perspectives.
With , we the readers, note the contributions from those who
actually live, work and breathe SPEC and it seems clear to us that that
must be a truly rewarding experience!
Once again, congratulations on what must be a very successful venture.
I look forward to the next issue!

Important to Anyone involved in Sport...
Please consider this a brief applause for the
outstanding job your team has done with the
publication of this magazine. I received my first
issue of last year. After lending it to several
family members, I always ensured it was returned
to me.
The articles were very informative, and made the magazine
worth keeping as a reference in my home. I am a swimmer,
and am encouraging my friends and family members to
take up swimming. The article on Lee-Anne Lingo is one I
am keeping for my daughter, to encourage her to match her
academic interests with sports.
The page eight (8) article on stretching is important to anyone
involved in sport, and was professionally written.
Again my compliments to your team, and please “don’t forget
my copy”.
